Graduated in Sports and Physical Education (Porto University). After working as an actor in Oficina Theatre Company, under the direction of Moncho Rodrigues, he deepened his dance formation in the research and choreographic creation course, at Fórum Dança, Lisbon. He took part in the multidisciplinary projects Colina/Tallin06 and APAP07 (Advancing Performing Arts Project) in Torres Vedras. He has worked with Paola Moreno, Bruno Dizien, Guilherme Botelho/Alias Compagnie, Lilia Mestre, Davis Freeman/Random Scream, amongst others. Since 2006, he collaborates with Sofia Dias in several choreographic works presented in Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, France and Germany. In the context of this collaboration, he has recently premiered a piece, the same but slightly different, for Companhia Instável, Porto. He's an associated artist from O Espaço do Tempo, Montemor-o-Novo. The first collaboration with Abraham Hurtado started in Lisbon for the Laboratory Mind-Body-Brain 2010.
