Haïm Adri

Trained in Israel and then France (Jacques Lecoq school). He began his professional career in 1992, demonstrating his interest in exploring the formal divisions between dance and theatre with Mercedes C. Aguirre, Michel Labu and with Turak Teatre, Ann-Marie Pascoli, Teatro du Soleil and Ariane Mnouchkine. Through improvisation, he discovered contact dance and instantaneous choreographic composition, fundamental areas for research into choreographic writing processes which led him to make contact with Steve Paxton, Lisa Nelson, Simon Forti and Julyen Hamilton. Later in 1998 he founded the company Sisyphe Heureux.
