She graduated in 1998 from the HKA/ ArtEZ Arnhem and completed a second education at DasArts, Amsterdam Master of Theatre, in 2007. Between her first studies and DasArts she has extensively worked as free-lance choreographer and assistant director for several dance and theatre companies in The Netherlands, Belgium and Spain. In 2004 she began making her own work, integrating digital image and sound composition to develope a diverse body of works which questioned through different formats issues such as the involvement of the spectator at each piece, the performer's presence on stage or the representation of time in nonlinear ways.

In some cases these pieces are performed in theatres, in other cases they are videos shown in monitors or self-contained scenographies for play and audience.

She lives and works in Amsterdam.
