Apunt.a  is a La Porta cycle in two parts.

In the first part, we present two works by British choreographer Jonathan Burrows and Italian composer Matteo Fargion, along with two earlier dance films and a conversation with the two artists.  A small monograph that allows us an insight into the wit and intelligence of the games and compositions that these artists use in their personal approach to movement as music and music as movement.

In the second part of the cycle, the focus is on the idea of works in progress. Here we present six proposals that are either at the initial phase or an intermediate stage of the production process. In parallel with these presentations, we've invited WP Zimmer, from Antwerp, Belgium, to present their project to create a structure that provides support for artists.

By creating opportunities for encounters between artists and audiences in in-between places, we want to broaden the range of possibilities where both can come together, beyond the simple consumption of finished works.
