Aquest projecte va començar com a  una invitació des del Tanzquartier, Viena, per participar en el projecte Gravity, un programa amb esbossos i esborranys de coreògrafs per explorar la relació entre dansa i societat. Així per a Gravity vam mostrar un esborrany de performance anomenat The Croquis. Després d'allò, vam decidir continuar treballant-hi per convertir The Croquis en una peça.
Estem treballant sobre coses de la vida que es poden representar i realitzar en escena; és a dir gairebé tot! Però estem treballant en una mena de petit món en escena i com aquesta representació és produïda per un artista, quina mena de realitat produeix per a l'espectador, com él/ella entra i surt de les peces de ficció que representen un moment en el món real. Com la performer entra i surt de la representació al mateix temps que és conscient que és part de la peça, que, en la ficció, és una peça que no està escrita encara. Així les coses que la performer representa són coses que van passar abans que la peça s'escrigués. Interpreta tot. Estem treballant en la idea que Cristina pugui multiplicar-se en escena durant l'actuació. I també sobre la idea de simultaneïtat: accions que passen en el mateix moment en la ficció. Com si Cristina vulgui interpretar tot allò que està passant en un moment en el món.

A més d'un suport econòmic a la producció de la nova obra de Cuqui Jerez, s'ha concedit una residència de creació, 3 setmanes de cessió d'espai d'assaig. Després d'estrenar-se a Madrid, es va presentar The croquis reloaded dins de la programació del cicle Sweet Desembre.
